"Unleashing Practitioners' Academic Potentials: Challenges and Opportunities"
The international seminar entitled “Unleashing Practitioners' Academic Potentials: Challenges and Opportunities" was successfully held by State Christian Theological School of Tarutung on the past 22-23 February 2018, taking place in the campus Auditorium.
The event was attended by the Head of State Christian Theological School of Tarutung, the lecturers, employees, and about 500 students coming from various study programs, along with 200 teachers of North Tapanuli, lecturers of neighboring universities, and representatives of the Ministry of Religious Affairs North Tapanuli.
State Christian Theological School of Tarutung presented 6 plenary speakers coming from overseas who are all professionals in each of their field. They are Prof. Nena P. Valdez, Ph.D. from Philippines, Szabolcs Janos Nagy, M.Sc. from Hungary, drh. Jenifer Sifuentes de Souza, M.Sc. from Brazil, Prof. dr. Lince Sihombing, M.Pd. from Indonesia, Didin Nuriddin Hidayat, M.A., TESOL, Ph.D. from Indonesia, and Citta Dinari Sellepan, M.App.Sc. as the representative of Canberra University Australia for Indonesia.
The occasion was opened with a sermon by Pdt. Rencan Marbun, M.Th. who is also one of the lecturers of Sate Christian Theological School of Tarutung. Following was a range of welcoming performances, which were songs and the Tor Tor dance performed by the students of State Christian Theological School.
