The ash of burning waste for electric energy has beneficial value. Burning ash can be used for the manufacture of mobile phone chip or computer chip. This finding is still relatively new and is being developed by several countries.
"There is a new discovery, the result is not just ash, the ash can be used for the industry of making mobile phone chips," said Maritime Maritime Deputy Minister Arif Havas Oegroseno at the National Conference on Waste to Energy event at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Central Jakarta, Monday 11 September 2017.
Utilization of ash to make the chip is based on the findings and studies of nordic countries such as Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The country has already implemented waste management for energy.
"It was only discovered three years ago that they found (ash) to be mobile phone chips and computer chips they sold to the market, they are now investing US $ 50 million to manage chip ash," he said.
Do not rule out, if Indonesia has been managing waste into Waste Power Plants (PLTSa), then the ashes will be used for that.
"We must comprehensively manage all aspects of waste (waste) energy, including it," said Havas. (ase)
